About
Dr. Ishu Kataria
I am a public-health researcher and advisor committed to reducing the burden of cancer and noncommunicable diseases globally. Over the past decade, I have worked across Asia and Africa to design and evaluate health programs, conduct implementation research, and advise policymakers on effective, evidence-driven strategies.
My work spans multiple spheres – early detection, health-systems strengthening, economic analysis, advocacy, and leadership development. I collaborate with governments, global institutions, civil-society networks, and academic partners to address critical gaps in cancer prevention and NCD control.
I serve as a Visiting Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Cancer Policy, King’s College London, and previously worked as a Senior Public Health Researcher at RTI International. I also contribute to national and global platforms dedicated to improving equity in health.
